well Richard aka corn fed gunhaha, hahahahha. anyways ya he is going to get the Force Performance Red turbo like me. He of course is running E85 and I am on meth injection. We both should make some serious power. We both have conservative goals of 450HP @the wheels, and about 515HP at the Crank.
stay tuned!!

DSMspick - February 23, 2010 07:06 AM (GMT)
Are we gonna see an Evo showdown?

lemmonhead - February 24, 2010 01:00 AM (GMT)
well would be kinda hard as I live in Pennsylvania and he is in kansas. He does seem to have a little better car out of the factory as he always made about 10-14hp more than me on the same kind of tune.
I guess we can do a dyno comparision but we all know how much flunctuations between dyno's are.

DSMspick - February 24, 2010 06:33 AM (GMT)
I say fuck it we all meet half way place bets then let you two duke it out!!!!

dsmspickdad - February 25, 2010 03:28 AM (GMT)
I know all the Buick guys love the meth inject, now however the DSM world seems to have mix reaction. Robert what's your opinion thinking bout e85 with speed density. Open to the meth inject the availiblity of e85 doesn't float my boat.

lemmonhead - February 26, 2010 03:48 AM (GMT)
Nothing to wrong with speed density, however so many high power cars on the stock MAF so why bother. I say go meth man I dont want to be all alone. hahahha.

dsmspickdad - February 26, 2010 04:26 AM (GMT)
I am stay the gm map, and used meth inject..which kit are you using?

gunhaha - February 27, 2010 05:42 AM (GMT)
Hey Robert - Got your Red already?
I sure wish you are still back here; we could help each other install them :)

gunhaha - February 27, 2010 05:44 AM (GMT)
The current E85 here are actually E70 due to the winter blends.
It will be back to 85% soon; maybe by April.

I think our old worn out stock clutch will be slipping at that power level :)

lemmonhead - February 27, 2010 06:10 AM (GMT)
I say burn the stock clutch for all she is worth. Richard are you planning on buying a clutch at the same time? Ya it would be nice to help eachother install them. I am hoping the Hack Saw mod doesn't come into play ;)
bubba,.I got the labonte motorsports kit I thought you already knew this?

dsmspickdad - February 28, 2010 02:01 AM (GMT)
I thought you had the Labonte meth kit, at my age sometimes the mind plays with you! Maybe we all can do clutches at the same time? Miss you Robert.

DSMspick - February 28, 2010 09:35 PM (GMT)
What brand of clutches you guys looking at? I am in the market right now for one.

lemmonhead - March 2, 2010 02:20 AM (GMT)
I plan on getting EXEDY Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch.
what are your thoughts what your looking at?

dsmspickdad - March 2, 2010 05:02 AM (GMT)
What's your thougths on the ACT 2900 or 2600 with a Street Disc?

Pretty much that Exedy or Act is what every one seems to go with. I think I am going to go ACT either 2600 or 2900 with the street disc so it will retain some drivability.

Is that stage 2 going to give you what you want? You may go through that bad boy in no time.

lemmonhead - March 3, 2010 12:19 AM (GMT)
thats a good question, I will talk to the rep with my torque requirments and see. the next one up is the EXEDY Multiplate Clutch which can withstand 800ft*lbs of torque, way more than I will be making 500-600 so im probably good with Stage 2 Cerametallic.
I guess it comes down to $$, maybe the ACT can save me some.

dsmspickdad - March 3, 2010 03:42 AM (GMT)
Act 2600 or 2900 is better clutch!

DSMspick - March 3, 2010 06:36 AM (GMT)
It pretty much comes down to preference, unless there are straight up manufacture defaults. Also depends on how you drive and if you break it in right. But yeah I'm going to go ACT. I have read forum after forum they all say ACT.
