The 2009 4th annual Missouri Mitsu meet plans are underway....so what would the members like to see? What are your wants for this meet? Any suggestions would help!

how about it being held in kansas since we got a few people there. I know I would attend it if its held there.

I think central Missouri is the only way to go. Otherwise it would be a Kansas City meet, not a Missouri meet.

I'd like to see a cruise take place. Have it all planned out with a lead driver. I'd also like it if half the member on here actually go. I know this year, most of the people there weren't even from the site.

when will this be? the last one i went to was i think 2 years ago. when it was FREEZING outside. i think the road we cruised on was awesome and i would like to cruise that again. it should also be sometime before february since thats the latest i could attend, lol

But this is just a thought... It would be a shit load of driving, But would be really fun IMO... What if we cruised from KC to STL, or STL to KC??? then finish with dinner at a hooters or something.

i like svt's idea. a long cruise to finish off with a meal.

and tyler i think i was at that one and it was ridiculous but got better neer the late afternoon.

I agree with everyone else though, a good cruise and a meal afterwards would work. KC to STL might be a little far for some people though. Although it would be fun, a cruise that long is going to deter a lot of our members.

A cruise from KC to STL or vice versa would be really fun, but only if you could convince enough people to drive 350 miles one way, and possibly 350 miles back. Not sure that could ever work out.

on a better note the long cruise sounds good but that would mean 700 miles both ways for some of us to drive. a litle too long dont ya think?

that long of a cruise would be a little too long. the cruise should be between 1hr-3hrs imo.

the meet will be at cosmos park in columbia like the last 2 years...a central location is key. a highway cruise sounds nice to me? just a fun little crruise on i 70 where we can get some good pics could work

I think straight roads are boring. The twisties are where it's at. We have four different forms of AWD here, we need to use it! (DSM, GVR4, 3/S, Evo)

Im down, i hopefully will be in a dsm of my own but we'll see. If not ill just bring the slowbalt. Columbus is good. Good Cruise is a must. Im excited!

cruise shouldn't be more than an hour long with breaks every 15 minutes. REMEMBER, we aren't driving the most reliable cars on the road!

hour long cruise isnt very long though. i think we need a cruise close to 2 hrs. with a break maybe every 45 min or so. and we need a spot to take a site pic of all the cars.

every 15 minutes is smart....thats how the DSM cruise does it...this is so everyone has time to catch up....i mean look at my car compared to some of the 300hp turbo cars on here...lol

thats why we shouldn't cannonball. a decent speed cruise where everyone can keep up on a fun road to drive on. a stop every 15 min would turn a 2 hr cruise into 5 hrs. because you know there is never a stop that people just pull over to catch up and then get moving again.

yeah the cruise we usually take is about... i think* 40 miles long? maybe 50 miles. it usually takes an hour to an hour and a half with breaks.

my dsm will prolly overheat if we run 45 minute legs

15 min. legs is plenty plus, you can really only handle so much adrenaline at once.

As long as there is food and that all the driving is a reasonable amount then im game.

Honestly, I'll be down for anything. I just want to see more of our members there, not just more cars.

you got something wrong with your car then. theres no reason for it to overheat every 45 mins. I don't care how hard your running it.

Two hour cruise I am IN. Even if I have to drive another car. And no cannonball tactics just laid back cruise, fun and food. Later in March or April.

That didn't work a couple years ago. It was still cold as hell. With Missouri weather though, you never know. I vote mid-late April. Cruise is a must.

I say april is good and i say we need to get legit pictures of cars together.
