me too, i'm sorta expecting her back in poorer condition at some point. Not sure what he's going to do with it, but I don't know if he's up to taking care of it.
But anyways, it's time to take the paddles to 503 and get taht beech on the rooaadddd

How much did you get for it, if you don't mind me asking. I'm starting to consider a GVR4 as a daily driver at somepoint...
Sleepr awd - April 3, 2008 12:53 AM (GMT)
GVR4's are sleepr's not DD's I dont' exacly recommend them as such because of their age and slight discomfort of ride. I do love them though, and i'll take a little abuse while i'm riding her if it gets me done ;)
I got 2800 for it, no haggling. They regularly go for 1500-6000 depending on condition. look around and you will find them. I think i've been through 3 .

I'm not worried about comfort. Really I just want something a little fun, but still capable of good gas mileage. And being a Mitsubishi is always a plus. How much do the GSXs go for?
SpyderBite - April 3, 2008 02:27 PM (GMT)
wait did I miss something? Why you letting her go already?
Sleepr awd - April 3, 2008 03:31 PM (GMT)
I don't know what you missed spydey. I bought 503 and don't have the dinero to fix it, so I sold 106 to get the money.
Gsx's go for 700-2000 or so. I'd recommend that route, just because if you have all the parts and are pretty saavy, swapping to turbo isn't that bad. Maybe 1500 or so to turbo one the right way.

now i'm so confused. Which one is the green one you bought not to long ago?
Tech@SA573 - April 3, 2008 04:41 PM (GMT)
503 is the green one he just bought...106 is the white one that he just sold.

Well I'd probably leave it non-turbo. With the gas the way it is  I want something economical and cheap. I'd hate to go the Honda route. What kind of mileage do the GSXs get?
Sleepr awd - April 4, 2008 02:42 AM (GMT)
no idea, never drove the car as a GSX. I'd expect around 22 city and maybe 26 hwy. AWD really drags a car down that doesn't have any torque.
OH and if you come across one with a blown tranny, I have a 5 speed AWD non-turbo trans (they are different), transfer case and rear diff. They are pretty much useless except to the less than 2500 potential Galant GSX owners, and who knows how many of those were actually 5 speeds.
